In all thirty villages were visited, that is three (3) villages in a day where the people were educated on the causes, symptoms, effects, and how they could prevent themselves from the H1N1 pandemic.
REACTION: - Most of the questions asked centred on the symptoms of the disease, its control and appeal to government to provide the needed drugs to areas where it has broken up. A man at Atuahenekrom wanted to know whether they should stop rearing or eating of pork to avoid the pandemic. A woman also wanted to know how come the pandemic started in overseas but just one year on it is now in Ghana

CONCLUSION: - It is noteworthy that wherever the crew visited the people received them warmly and showed their appreciation of their work. In some places the chiefs, and their elders as well as assembly men attended the talk show. The Municipal Assembly also provided the logistics needed for the programme. In effect the crew did not encounter any major problem during the period of campaign.
P/S: - I certify that the report by the commentator is a true reflection of what transpired during the ten (10) days public education campaign carried out in the Sunyani Municipality.
